Lead parts purchasing and inventory control for Birch Mountain Enterprises in Fort McKay, supporting maintenance operations on a 7-on, 7-off schedule.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Parts Technician manages warehouse and shop activities at the Fort McKay Incubator Park. This experienced position covers purchasing, receiving, shipping, inventory tracking, and support for maintenance budgets. You will also guide Shipping and Receiving staff while serving internal and external customers professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

- Quote, purchase, receive, and distribute required parts and supplies
- Track inventory flow, levels, and shop costs
- Negotiate vendor pricing and availability for management approval
- Coordinate freight shipping, receiving, and forklift loading




- Direct daily Shipping and Receiving support staff activities

Requirements:

- Journeyman Parts Technician status preferred
- Current enrollment in an Apprenticeship program required
- Three to five years’ transportation-sector parts technician experience
- Previous supervisory experience and solid computer skills
- Class 5 driver’s license, clean abstract, and required certifications
