The HVAC Refrigeration Technician plays an significant role in providing installation and service to our customers heat pump equipment. HVAC knowledge, attention to detail, communication and a positive attitude will contribute to the overall success of this role.

Essential Responsibilities:
Performs maintenance, installation, cleaning, diagnostics, and repairs on heat pump equipment
Communicates with customers and administrative staff on a day-to-day basis
Anchor and hook-up HVAC machinery
Follow safety protocol and comply with safety and occupational standards
Must be available for on-call rotation for emergency service
Can handle medium to heavy equipment
Completes the scope of their job in a timely manner
Maintains a positive attitude





The nature of this role may be physically demanding and require manual dexterity, bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Qualifications:
Journeyman refrigeration license (considered an asset)
Minimum 3rd period apprentice or equivalent experience
Valid driver's abstract
Safety certifications are considered an asset (First Aid, Fall Arrest, WHMIS, etc.)
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
