How You’ll Be Contributing

- Own standard costing, including material, labour, machine, and manufacturing overhead costs, while maintaining accurate BOMs, routings, labour standards, and allocation methodologies.
- Analyze manufacturing costs and variances, identify root causes, and partner with Operations to improve cost control, productivity, and margins.
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation and reconciliation across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory provisions.
- Lead month-end cost accounting, including journal entries, COGS, inventory reconciliations, manufacturing variances, accruals, and related reporting.
- Deliver clear profitability, margin, cost, and KPI analysis to support management decisions, budgeting, forecasting, and new product costing.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Product Development to improve costing accuracy, master data, processes, and financial visibility.




- Support ERP and continuous-improvement initiatives while strengthening financial controls and cost accountability.
- Lead and manage a small team of accounting and inventory professionals, providing day-to-day direction, support, and coordination.

We’d Love to Hear from You if You Have

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
CPA designation, or progress toward one, preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including hands-on cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of standard costing, BOMs, routings, WIP, inventory valuation, COGS, and manufacturing variances.
- Experience with ERP/manufacturing systems; SYSPRO is a solid asset.
- Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or other business-intelligence tools are an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues, challenge existing processes constructively, and turn detailed cost information into clear business insights.
- Strong communications skills in French, as well as English as many partners are located outside of Quebec.

Votre contribution

- Prendre en charge les coûts standards liés aux matières, à la main-d’œuvre, à la machinerie et aux frais généraux de fabrication, tout en assurant l’exactitude des nomenclatures (BOM), des gammes, des normes de main-d’œuvre et des méthodes de répartition.
- Analyser les coûts et les écarts de fabrication, en déterminer les causes fondamentales et collaborer avec les Opérations afin d’améliorer le contrôle des coûts, la productivité et les marges.
- Assurer l’évaluation et le rapprochement exacts des matières premières, des travaux en cours (WIP) et des produits finis, y compris les inventaires cycliques et physiques ainsi que les provisions pour stocks.
- Diriger les activités de comptabilité
