Job Responsibility:

Green Theory Design is a specialty manufacturing company that fabricates custom outdoor and indoor site furnishings, focusing on planters and rooftop modular designs. We are a fast growing company that is constantly looking for recent ways to continue be the Canadian leader in custom planter site furnishings.

We are currently hiring a Solidworks Engineer to join our team in Port Coquitlam , BC.

Skills and Abilities Needed:
Ability to program machining process in the Amada Suite (Fibrelaser & Brake)
Candidate should be able to take a conceptual drawing or vision of a component and turn it into a full 3D model in SolidWorks Sheet Metal. Including doing take offs of architectural drawings
Candidate should be able to work in a team setting with a positive attitude
Demonstrate excellent work ethic and reliability

Qualifications:
Proficient in 2D and 3D Modeling in SolidWorks Sheet Metal
Knowledge of Machining, Metal Fabrication, and Manufacturing Processes
Firm understanding of sheet metal fabrication and be able to come up with innovative solutions to manufacturing challenges
2+ Years of Experience




Be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects
Willing to expand and learn new skills
Must be willing to work in a shop workplace

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for all fabrication, engineering and design
Work with our Estimators/Project Managers to come up with best way to produce product
Able to design products to be made efficiently while considering sheet utilization
Other responsibilities will be assigned as needed
