Job Responsibility:

Nick Day Design is a custom woodshop specializing in high-end residential cabinetry and furniture. Our projects include custom millwork, furniture and a collection of solid wood furniture. Seeking an experienced Woodworker to join our team.

An ideal candidate will be:
Skilled woodworker with at least 3 years of employment experience in a woodshop. Must be capable of working independently
Able to read shop drawings, make cut lists and problem solve fabrication methods
Experience working with a range of materials (wood veneers, solid wood, MDF, melamine). Specific experience and interest in working with solid woods is an asset.
Familiar with standard cabinet and furniture construction and hardware




Comfortable working with tools and machinery in a secure manner
Detail-oriented and takes pride in their work
Dynamic, adaptable skill base
Positive attitude and a team player
