Food safety and SQF certification preparation define this full-time, in office Coordinator role with Trebley Logistics Ltd. in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

You will help develop and maintain quality programs across third-party warehousing, distribution, and transportation operations. The position emphasizes food safety procedures, audit readiness, employee training, and practical controls. You will collaborate with management, warehouse supervisors, employees, customers, and external consultants while working Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop food safety policies, procedures, forms, and records
- Prepare daily for SQF certification audits
- Maintain hazard assessments and preventive controls




- Conduct warehouse inspections and internal audits
- Investigate quality issues and verify corrective actions

Requirements:

- At least three years’ food safety or quality assurance experience
- Experience developing procedures and preparing for audits
- Experience with SQF or recognized GFSI certification
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, sanitation, and traceability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
