Lead child-care operations at Saddletowne YMCA in Calgary with Level 3 certification and supervisory experience. This full-time position requires weekday schedule flexibility.

Reporting to the Centre Manager – Early Years, the Child Care Director manages centre administration and operations. You will lead staff recruitment, supervision, scheduling, performance management, training and recognition. The position supports developmentally appropriate programming for children aged 19 months to six years, including YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete childcare centre operational and administrative responsibilities
- Lead recruitment, supervision, scheduling, training and staff recognition
- Ensure compliance with YMCA and Alberta childcare regulations




- Maintain secure, clean indoor and outdoor environments
- Manage health, safety and emergency situations promptly

Requirements:

- Alberta Daycare Qualification Certificate Level 3
- Five years supervising within a licensed childcare centre
- Experience managing an effective childcare staff team
- Planning and delivery skills for developmentally appropriate programs
- Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C certification
