Senior Airport Project Architect at AECOM, based in office in Mississauga, requires architectural review expertise and skilled registration. This newly created role supports complex capital projects.You will independently review major project designs, challenge architectural solutions, and support owner-side technical assurance. The work covers codes, accessibility, building science, specifications, constructability, and interdisciplinary coordination. Airport experience is preferred, alongside familiarity with Revit, Navisworks, BIM coordination, and Bluebeam workflows.Key Responsibilities:
Review complex capital projects at key design stagesCheck submissions against codes, standards, and owner requirementsIdentify architectural risks, gaps,
and coordination issuesProvide evidence-based comments and recommendationsTrack findings through resolution and closureRequirements:
Degree and eight years of relevant experience, or equivalencyProfessional registration, preferably OAA or Ontario eligibilityApproximately ten or more years of architectural experience preferredExperience reviewing multidisciplinary capital projects preferredStrong communication and defensible recommendation skillsApply architectural review, compliance, and technical assurance expertise to major airport projects with AECOM in Mississauga.
