We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

This is a robust opportunity for a seasoned engineer to design and ship enterprise-grade applications on the Microsoft stack, working fully remotely from Toronto, Ontario.

Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, REST APIs, and microservices
Develop and deploy cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure using services such as Azure Functions, App Services, and Azure DevOps
Write effective T-SQL and stored procedures, shape database designs, and tune queries for performance in SQL Server
Create responsive, modern web front ends with Angular or React, using JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
Design event-driven systems with message queues and publish/subscribe patterns using tools such as Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or Kafka
Take part in design discussions and code reviews to keep quality and maintainability high
Track down and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack
Work closely with Product and QA partners to deliver features that are reliable and well tested
Share knowledge with teammates and help raise engineering standards

Qualifications




Strong hands-on experience building scalable enterprise applications with C#, .NET Core/.NET, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
Experience designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications on Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions, App Services, and Azure DevOps
Strong proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, database design, query optimization, and performance tuning
Hands-on experience building modern, responsive web applications with Angular or React, plus JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience designing and implementing event-driven systems using message queues, publish/subscribe patterns, and technologies such as Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or Kafka
Ability to work independently and communicate well in a remote environment
