American Iron & Metal seeks a Truck Mechanic for its Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures operations. This permanent full time position maintains and repairs trucks, trailers, and other mobile equipment. The schedule runs Monday through Thursday, from 2:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., supporting equipment safety and reliable operation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy vehicles and mobile equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective inspections according to company standards
- Resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Conduct functional equipment tests
- Record repairs and maintenance accurately

Requirements:

- DEP in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent training
- Minimum two years of heavy vehicle mechanics experience
- PEP card and driver’s license
- Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to use computerized diagnostic tools
