Support secure aircraft loading and cargo handling at Cargojet while operating ground support equipment and meeting time-sensitive deadlines. Work occurs outdoors in all weather conditions.

The Ground Handler processes cargo and aircraft loading or offloading within prescribed parameters. Cargojet operates time-sensitive overnight air cargo services across North America, using all-cargo aircraft. You will sort packages, communicate shipment information, and handle freight carefully. The position includes daily work around aircraft, customer packages, and trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Load and offload aircraft and trucks safely
- Operate ground support equipment during cargo handling
- Sort packages by customer and airport destination




- Communicate piece counts and package information
- Complete dangerous goods handling and acceptance tasks

Requirements:

- High school graduation or equivalent experience
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence or equivalent
- Ability to obtain a Transport Canada RAIC pass
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- Availability for shifts, weekends, and statutory holidays
