Start developing diesel technician skills with Ryder in Mississauga while gaining hands-on shop experience and mentor-guided training. This is a full-time, permanent position.

The Technician Trainee role introduces employees to technician work through Ryder's 18-month Technical Training Developmental Program. You will work as a Service Employee in a professional shop environment while learning assigned responsibilities and maintenance practices. The program supports potential future Technician I or Technician II opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Move heavy-duty vehicles through yards, wash bays, and service shops
- Wash, detail, fuel, and inspect vehicles according to procedures
- Record fuel activity and reconcile fuel and DEF inventories
- Check tires, fluids, lights, windows,



and refrigeration units
- Report service issues and perform assigned minor maintenance

Requirements:

- Enrollment in Ryder's 18-month technical training program
- Ability to complete weekly training and assigned responsibilities
- Ability to follow Ryder Maintenance Operations policies
- Availability for assigned Monday-to-Friday shifts
- Ability to maintain positive employment standing throughout training
