Apply phlebotomy expertise as a Float Laboratory Assistant with Dynacare across Peterborough, Kingston, Port Perry, and surrounding Ontario locations. Provide compassionate patient care.

This contract, part-time position guarantees 15 hours weekly for 18 months. You will collect blood and other specimens, conduct patient tests, and support positive patient experiences. The role requires Laboratory Assistant training, specialized phlebotomy education, and solid English communication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Obtain quality blood samples using skillful venipuncture techniques
- Conduct patient tests, ECGs, and Holter hookups
- Collect paternity, urine, drug, and breath alcohol specimens
- Enter patient and test information accurately
- Prepare specimens and documentation for laboratory transportation

Requirements:

- Completed secondary school and Laboratory Assistant training
- Completed specialized phlebotomy or Medical Lab Assistance training
- Demonstrated phlebotomy skill with anxious patients
- Extremely detail-oriented and deadline-focused
- MLPAO or CSMLS certification strongly recommended
