This technician responds to service requests involving installations, repairs, and routine maintenance on existing systems. The work requires troubleshooting, gas flow checks, final inspections, and safe equipment operation. You will also provide consultative services, status updates, and guidance to junior employees.
Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot customer issues using industry and company best practices
Check gas flow, thermostats, heat flow, and insulation
Complete final inspections after repairs finish
Maintain safe working conditions and follow safety procedures
Guide junior employees and lead jobs when required
Requirements: Valid Gas Technician license
Ability to install and service heating equipment
Knowledge of wiring, plumbing, and some air conditioning
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Two to four years of preferred experience
