Job Details Plumber Apprentice NOC: 72300
Salary: $30.00 to $42.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Advantages: Upon completion of a 3-month probationary period.

Job Duties and skill requirements: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems.
Install, repair, and maintain domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors.
Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines.
Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.




Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
Qualifications: Physical condition which allows for prolonged periods of standing, bending, walking, twisting, handling materials manually and making repetitive motions.
Minimum 3-year work experience in the plumbing field.
Must have Class 5 Drivers license.
Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug tests.
Education Requirements/Credentials: Registered as a plumbing apprentice with Skilled Trades BC (ITA)
Minimum Education: Combination of work experience in the trade and some high school
Applicable industry safety tickets will be required. Aerial Work Platform, Fall protection, and First Aid.
