As Assistant Store Manager, Back-End Operations, you will lead the building materials yard, shipping, order picking, inventory integrity, and applicable fleet operations. You will support lumber, building materials, Pro, and Install Sales through timely fulfillment. Success requires people leadership, operational excellence, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities: Lead building materials yard, shipping, and order-picking functions
Maintain inventory accuracy, shrink controls, and loss prevention practices
Ensure safe, organized back-end workspaces and yard standards




Partner with front-end leaders on sales execution and fulfillment
Coach associates through feedback, training, and development conversations
Requirements: Five or more years of retail management experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Microsoft Office Suite and technology for analysis
Flexible retail schedule and willingness to learn independently
