Support patient care through healthcare cleaning, floor care, and disinfection at CGMH. This temporary part-time assignment offers scheduled 8-hour shifts across days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
The Environmental Services Aide works across varied hospital spaces as part of the Environmental Services team. Reporting to the Manager, Food Services, Clinical Nutrition and Environmental Services, you will maintain patient care areas and complete specialized cleaning procedures. Your work contributes directly to a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities: Clean patient care areas using healthcare procedures
Disinfect hospital spaces and maintain their condition
Apply specialized cleaning techniques in designated areas
Perform assigned duties under manager supervision
Requirements: Ontario Secondary School Diploma required
Professional cleaning experience preferred
Healthcare cleaning and PIDAC knowledge preferred
Floor care experience preferred
WHMIS, dilution rates, and Personal Protective Equipment knowledge preferred
Use healthcare cleaning knowledge, floor care experience, and protected chemical practices to support CGMH patients and hospital spaces.
