# Wealth AdvisorGrande Prairie , ABEnd Post Date:Not AvailableJob Type:Full timeWorkspace:Salary:Industry Type:Employer:On site$ 30.00 to $ 35.00 HOUR hourlyFinanceVelocity GeomaticsWork Hours:Not Available## About the CompanyNot Available## About the Role\*HSE Advisor\* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Advisor to join our team in the Grande Prairie office. \*Velocity Group\* offers a broad scope of Surveying and Civil Engineering services from our offices across Alberta. \*Key Responsibilities\* \* Implement, manage, and monitor the HSE Management System. \* Conduct regular HSE audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. \* Develop project-specific HSE documentation. \* Conduct field tours and site inspections to monitor protected work practices, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with HSE requirements. \* Travel regularly to field locations and project sites, maintaining a strong understanding of the operating area and preparing for varying road, weather, and site conditions. \* Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. \* Plan and coordinate emergency response and crisis management efforts. \* Ensure continuous improvement of HSE standards and practices. \* Manage and facilitate employee onboarding, including safety orientations, company policies, and required training programs. \* Coordinate, participate in,



& maintain documentation for Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) meetings, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and company requirements. \* Monitor employee training and certification requirements, maintaining accurate records and ensuring ongoing compliance. \* Support the development and delivery of safety training, toolbox talks, and employee awareness initiatives. \*Qualifications\* \* Occupational Health & Safety certification (NCSO, CSO, CRSP, OHS Diploma) is considered an asset. \* Minimum 3 years of HSE experience. \* Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and industry best practices. \* Experience with ISNetworld (ISN), Avetta, ComplyWorks, 8 am and Workhub. \* Experience coordinating employee onboarding and safety training programs is considered an asset. \* Knowledge of Joint Health & Safety Committee requirements and experience supporting committee activities is preferred. \* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. \* Oilfield safety certifications are an asset. \* Strong organizational and record-management skills. \* Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract. \*Apply Today\* Email your resume to: \*[email protected]\* Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: \* Casual dress \* Dental care \* Disability insurance \* Extended health care \* Flexible schedule \* Life insurance \* On-site parking \* Vision care Work Location: In person
