Provide psychological assessment and treatment at Health PEI’s Alberton Health Centre, serving adults, children, and families with mental health concerns.

This full time permanent Mental Health and Substance Use Clinician position offers substantial clinical autonomy within MH&A; Community Programs West. You will deliver case management, consultation, crisis intervention, and evidence-based treatment for clients experiencing mental illness, substance use, addiction, or concurrent disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess clients and develop, monitor, and adjust treatment plans
- Provide individual, family, group, and Open Access Counselling
- Respond to emergencies, walk-ins, distress calls, and identified risks
- Coordinate resources with families, physicians,



and community partners
- Maintain case records according to Health PEI documentation standards

Requirements:

- Master’s degree in psychology
- Eligibility for PEI psychologist registration, or good standing
- Considerable clinical mental health and substance use experience
- Training in individual, family, and group therapy
- Working knowledge of the Mental Health Act and DSM-5
