Support protected plant operations as a Relief Operator at AltaGas’s Pipestone Facility near Grande Prairie, Alberta. Perform equipment checks and plant readings.

This full-time Relief Operator supports operations staff with daily facility activities. The work includes plant readings, safety equipment checks, maintenance preparation, and equipment support. The schedule is seven days on, seven days off, rotating night and day shifts, twelve hours per day.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take plant readings and perform equipment checks
- Complete safety equipment checks throughout facility operations
- Assist operators with equipment lockout and purging
- Change filters and assist with pipeline pigging
- Support safe work permitting for maintenance tasks

Requirements:

- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Minimum Fourth Class Power Engineering certificate
- Or willingness to work toward certification
- Ability to work under limited supervision
- Positive attitude and desire to learn
