The Near North District School Board seeks a temporary itinerant Educational Assistant reporting to the Principal of Special Education. Support students with wide-ranging exceptionalities, including autism, medically complex needs, developmental disabilities, and physical disabilities. Work with teachers, behavioural specialists, and therapists.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct support to high-needs students across West Region schools
- Support students moving into the region mid-year
- Assist transitions between programs or educational settings




- Implement programming with classroom teachers and support teams
- Collaborate with speech, sensory, occupational, and physiotherapy therapists

Requirements:

- Two-year post-secondary social services certificate or diploma
- Experience supporting varied student exceptionalities
- Knowledge of ABA, Behaviour Management Systems, and CPS
- Knowledge of augmentative communication support strategies
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
