Structural Engineering design and analysis await an Engineer-In-Training at TBT Engineering, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams under Qualified Engineer mentorship.
This full-time position supports Structural Engineering projects while developing technical knowledge in design, analysis, and project delivery. You will advance toward professional licensure through practical engineering work, technical deliverables, and collaboration with experienced Professional Engineers. The work includes design development, construction review, field investigations, and contract administration.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with designs, analyses, plans, specifications, and cost estimates
Support design development, construction review, and project management activities
Prepare and verify reports, calculations, and project deliverables
Conduct site reviews, inspections,



testing, and technical investigations
Coordinate with teams, clients, agencies, the public, and suppliers
Requirements: Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited Canadian university
Strong Structural Engineering design and contract administration skills
Understanding of relevant codes, standards, regulations, and engineering software
Field experience considered an asset
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Develop Structural Engineering expertise through design, fieldwork, technical reporting, and mentorship toward professional licensure at TBT Engineering.
