Lead accurate financial reporting as a Senior Financial Accountant in Calgary, using technical accounting and cost accounting expertise onsite.
This full time position supports the Financial Controller within the Accounting & Finance Team. You will manage month-end closing, reconciliations, financial packages, tax filings, and reporting across multiple entities and jurisdictions. The work supports an organization manufacturing aluminum trim systems and battery production.
Key Responsibilities: Complete journal entries, invoicing, reconciliations, and daily accounting tasks
Prepare consolidated financial packages under ASPE and Canadian GAAP
Support financial statements, tax filings, and GST remittances




Maintain cost accounting systems and accurate inventory valuation
Assist audits, variance analysis, forecasting, and finance initiatives
Requirements: CPA designation
At least five years of progressive accounting experience
Strong technical accounting and manufacturing cost accounting knowledge
Microsoft Office Suite and ERP proficiency
Ability to manage priorities, deadlines, and confidential information
