Hitachi Rail Canada Inc. seeks an Accounts Payable Lead reporting to the Director of Accounting within Finance. The position supervises invoice processing, payment runs, vendor management, and process improvements. It also supports reconciliations, controls, and cross-functional implementation activities.
Key Responsibilities: Process invoices accurately with approved supporting documentation
Supervise payment runs and manage vendor payment queries
Reconcile supplier statements, balance sheet accounts, and accruals
Maintain vendor master data and reports in SAP




Implement improvements to accounts payable procedures and controls
Requirements: University degree specializing in Accounting and Accounts Payable
At least five years in computerized accounting environments
Experience with large accounting software, preferably SAP
Advanced Excel knowledge and functions
Strong communication, organization, and deadline management skills
Apply accounts payable leadership, SAP, reconciliation, and process improvement skills within Hitachi Rail Canada Inc.’s Finance team.
