The Claims Specialist investigates, evaluates, negotiates, and resolves commercial liability claims from minor to complex. Responsibilities include claim strategy, reserves, coverage verification, and customer service. The specialist collaborates with counsel, adjusters, vendors, and internal stakeholders to achieve timely outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Direct commercial liability claims from minor to complex severity
Investigate, analyze, evaluate, and adjust assigned claims
Verify policies and determine coverage using sound judgment
Develop case strategies, evaluations,



and timely claim resolutions
Negotiate with claimants or counsel and manage litigation events
Requirements: Fluency in written and spoken French and English
Relevant university or college degree, or equivalent experience
AMF Commercial Claims Adjuster Certificate or Quebec Bar membership
Casualty claims, insurance, law, or related experience
Three to five years of relevant experience preferred
