Build Node.js services and AWS infrastructure at Picniic while developing data-centric systems for a family management platform. Work across server and client development.

As a Server Engineer, you will support Picniic’s family dashboard through server-side code and data-centric services. The full-time role includes infrastructure maintenance, feature discussions, and technical collaboration. Your work can span Node.js, Web APIs, REST services, SQL, NoSQL, AWS, React, and Redux.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop data-centric services supporting the Picniic product
- Design and develop server-side code
- Build and maintain infrastructure
- Contribute across server-side and client-side development
- Participate in feature and technical discussions

Requirements:

- Skilled experience with Node.js
- Experience building Web APIs or REST services
- Experience or knowledge of SQL and NoSQL solutions
- Experience with AWS EC2, Lambda, or API Gateway
- Understanding of computer science fundamentals and security
