This permanent full-time Support Worker II position provides support within a group home setting. Duties include personal care, household responsibilities, meal preparation, and finances. You may also accompany people to appointments or events, fostering connections within the community. Empower Simcoe has served people and families throughout Simcoe County since 1953.
Key Responsibilities: Support individuals with intellectual disabilities in daily living
Provide personal care within a group home setting
Complete household duties and prepare meals




Support financial activities for individuals
Accompany people to appointments or community events
Requirements: Developmental Service Worker diploma or acceptable educational equivalency
Six months direct related Developmental Services experience
Ability to work weekends and holidays
Attend daytime team meetings and training as required
Valid Class G licence and reliable transportation
Bring developmental services experience and daily living support skills to Empower Simcoe’s permanent full time Orillia position.
