As a Welder-Assembler, you will perform custom fabrication and factory assembly while using multiple welding techniques. The work includes oxy-acetylene, gas metal arc, flux core, plasma arc, submerged arc, electroslag, fusion, and multipass welding. The workplace may be confined, dusty, hot, noisy, and dirty.
Key Responsibilities: Determine material weldability before completing assigned welding work
Perform oxy-acetylene, GMAW, FCAW, PAW, and SAW welding
Complete electroslag, fusion welds, and multipass welding
Operate arc, brazing, resistance, and soldering machines
Produce custom-fabricated and factory-assembled metal components
Requirements: Other trades certificate or diploma
Three to less than five years of experience
Experience working with steel, iron, and heavy metals
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Attention to detail in repetitive, physically demanding work
Bring multi-process welding expertise, material judgment, and fabrication skills to industrial assembly and custom metalwork.
