This senior position serves chemical and manufacturing operations through process design, optimization, and troubleshooting. You will design equipment, develop PFDs and P&IDs;, complete calculations, and collaborate with process engineers, project managers, and plant operations teams. The work combines in office design activities and plant visits with remote workdays.
Key Responsibilities: Design reactors, pressure vessels, pumps, heat exchangers, and piping systems
Develop PFDs and P&IDs; for operable mechanical systems
Perform stress analyses using ASME, API, and relevant standards




Select construction materials for process conditions and compatibility
Oversee procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
At least nine years' progressive mechanical engineering experience
Process design experience in chemical or related manufacturing industries
Knowledge of pressure vessels, rotating machinery, and piping systems
Proficiency in ASME, API, SANS, CAD, and potentially simulation tools
