The Personal Support Worker delivers care to residents according to established plans. This role monitors care, observes residents, and reports findings to the immediate supervisor. It also supports documentation, education sessions, meetings, workshops, onboarding, and infection prevention procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Provide resident care according to established care plans
Observe residents and report findings to supervisors
Document resident care information as directed
Attend education sessions, meetings, and workshops
Follow infection prevention and control policies
Requirements: Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma graduation
Meet Ministry of Training vocational standards
Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards
Know simple treatments and bedside care techniques
Understand sanitation and geriatric resident needs
Bring resident care, observation, documentation, and infection prevention knowledge to AgeCare’s Personal Support Worker team.
