Vancouver Airport Authority is hiring a Fire Inspector to carry out fire inspections and code compliance work at YVR. Candidates with fire prevention or inspection education from JIBC, BCIT or equivalent are a fit, and an equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
Pay: $80,817 to $105,629 per year (40-hour week)

Key requirements:
High school plus one to two years of post-secondary in fire inspection, fire prevention or a related field (JIBC, BCIT or equivalent)
One to three years of relevant experience in fire prevention, inspections, emergency services or similar (or equivalent combination)
Working knowledge of the BC Fire Code, National Fire Code and NFPA standards
Valid BC driver's licence with clear abstract (fewer than 6 points) and ability to obtain an Airside Vehicle Operating Permit
Transparent criminal record check
