Strategic planning and data analysis define this Strategic Business Analyst position with the City of Edmonton. The role may offer hybrid work from home and the worksite.
You will support the Department Strategy Section across the Office of the City Manager, Corporate Services, and Financial Services. The position focuses on service improvement, workflow analysis, business cases, policy reviews, and operational execution. You will work with Community Partners, strategy peers, senior leaders, and supported departments.
Key Responsibilities: Lead service experience and process improvement projects
Develop business cases aligned with department priorities
Conduct service reviews and data-driven analysis
Present project materials to leadership teams
Guide implementation, adoption,



and change readiness
Requirements: Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or Public Administration
At least five years of progressively responsible experience
Experience with strategic and operational business planning
Experience using performance measures, budgets, and business cases
Ability to translate complex information into executive recommendations
Apply strategic planning, operational execution, research, and communication skills to improve City of Edmonton services and processes.
