This casual contract pharmacist position supports Express Scripts Canada Pharmacy Operations. You will verify prescriptions, counsel patients, oversee pharmacy technicians, and respond to clinical queries. The role also includes mentoring pharmacists or technicians and providing backup when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Verify medications, labels, and prescriptions before dispensing
- Provide quality assurance oversight to pharmacy technicians
- Counsel patients on new prescriptions and clinical queries
- Interpret prescriptions and verify controlled-substance validity
- Train and mentor less-experienced pharmacists or technicians

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Science-Pharmacy or PharmD
- Valid British Columbia pharmacist license
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
- Solid customer service, quality, and accuracy focus
- Kroll experience is an asset; Microsoft Office knowledge required
