Support BC Hydro’s Surrey Campus through facility maintenance, building inspections, and corrective repairs in an onsite technician position. Use CMMS tools to resolve facilities issues.

As a Facility Maintenance Technician with Black & McDonald, you will support safety, maintenance, and operational integrity at the designated campus location. The position includes service calls, preventive maintenance, supplier coordination, and customer communication. You will work with the Facility Manager and team to maintain building systems and services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan planned and corrective maintenance tasks with the Facility Manager
- Conduct operational, safety, and site condition inspections
- Respond to JDE work orders and tag completed assets




- Coordinate supplier activities and supervise onsite maintenance work
- Complete minor repairs, reports, and deficiency corrections

Requirements:

- Three to five years’ facilities or service industry experience
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC maintenance tasks
- Fourth or Fifth Class Power Engineering certification is an asset
- Clean Class 5 or higher BC driver’s license
- Basic computer, Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
