Lead excavation and shoring crews for Mainland while coordinating daily work, resources, safety, and quality across outdoor construction sites.

The Mainland Group of Companies seeks an experienced Lead Hand for excavation and shoring construction. You will supervise crews, support the Foreman, review plans, and help keep work aligned with schedules. The work includes civil site services, subdivisions, roads, highways, bridges, commercial development, and industrial infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise crews and provide direction throughout each workday
- Coordinate people, materials, equipment, and daily schedules
- Assist Foreman with progress updates and inspector communication
- Confirm utility pre-locates before conflicting site activities




- Promote Mainland safety, quality, and environmental requirements

Requirements:

- Minimum two years Lead Hand experience; five preferred
- Solid understanding of excavation and shoring construction
- Ability to review plans and understand complete construction projects
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and regional travel availability
- Lower Mainland residence and physical outdoor work capability
