As a local, short haul Truck Driver, you will transport and handle dangerous goods while supporting customer service. The work includes loading, unloading, inspections, dispatch communication, and cargo recordkeeping. One to less than two years of experience is required.
Key Responsibilities: Transport and handle dangerous goods on local short haul routes
Load and unload goods weighing up to 23 kilograms
Complete pre trip, en route, and post trip inspections
Receive and relay information to central dispatch
Record cargo, hours, distance, and fuel consumption
Requirements: Air Brakes Endorsement
Class 3 or D driver’s licence
One to less than two years of experience
Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
Ability to handle heavy, physically demanding work
Bring reliable driving, dangerous goods handling, and inspection skills to Matonabee Petroleum Ltd’s Yellowknife transportation operations.
