Lead manufacturing execution at IEM’s Surrey office using people leadership and production management skills. This is a fully onsite weekend schedule.
The Operations Supervisor is a first-line leader overseeing a defined value stream. You will manage Team Leads and Operators while maintaining safety, quality, delivery, efficiency, and flow. The position partners with the Operations Manager and coordinates with Planning, Materials, Quality, and Maintenance.
Key Responsibilities: Lead daily production activities within the assigned work center
Supervise, coach, and evaluate Team Leads and Operators
Track takt time, schedules, output, defects, and downtime
Lead Tier 2 daily management meetings
Enforce safety, 5S, standard work, and operational policies
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or five additional years of relevant experience
Three years’ manufacturing or production experience
One year in formal or informal leadership
Experience with takt time and visual management
Solid communication and problem-solving skills
Apply operations leadership, takt time management, and continuous improvement skills as IEM’s onsite Surrey manufacturing supervisor.
