Lead accounts payable operations for Hitachi Rail Canada Inc. in Toronto through invoice processing, vendor management, and payment coordination. This full time hybrid assignment lasts 12 months.
Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the Accounts Payable Lead supervises invoice processing and Payment Run activities. The position manages vendors, supports Treasury, and improves accounts payable and payment processes. You will work with SAP vendor master data, reconciliations, accruals, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities: Process invoices accurately with approved supporting documentation
Coordinate payments and hedged items with Treasury
Resolve invoice delays, queries, and vendor disputes
Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals




Maintain SAP vendor master data and payment processes
Requirements: University degree specializing in Accounting and Accounts Payable
At least five years in computerized accounting environments
Experience with large accounting software; SAP preferred
Advanced Excel functions and strong communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines with little supervision
Bring accounts payable leadership, SAP knowledge, reconciliations, and process improvement experience to Hitachi Rail Canada Inc. in Toronto.
