As a Baker, you support the in-store bakery experience by taking orders, labeling products accurately, and answering customer questions. Your Independent Grocer provides training, so previous experience is not required. The work includes customer service, product displays, promotions, organization, and health and safety standards. You will contribute to an experience built on authenticity, trust, and connections.
Key Responsibilities: Provide outstanding customer service in the bakery department
Take customer orders and accurately label products
Scan products accurately during customer purchases




Carry out company-directed promotions and programs
Maintain displays, organization, and health and safety standards
Requirements: Previous experience is not required; training is provided
Demonstrated customer service skills
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Flexibility for days, evenings, nights, and weekends
Ability to move up to 50 pounds throughout shifts
