AgeCare seeks an HCA for its care team at 77 Jamieson Court. The position supports individual resident needs through bathing, feeding, mobility assistance, routine treatments, and facility activities. Care follows the NCP, care plans, safety procedures, and assigned competency.
Key Responsibilities: Bath, shower, and wash residents using water temperature controls
Assist transfers using ceiling lifts, mechanical lifts, and transfer belts
Feed residents according to care plan diets
Provide routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
Escort residents to meals, therapy, recreation, and social functions
Requirements: One year of continuing care experience preferred
Recognized Personal Care Aide or equivalent education certificate
Active CLHA registration required
Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
Post-secondary education considered an asset
