Recovery Alberta seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for its 32-bed Complex Mental Health Rehabilitation Program. You will support clients living with addiction and mental health needs through patient family centered care, recovery, trauma-informed, and psychosocial models. The role works with multidisciplinary professionals, AgeCare, peace officers, and partnering agency staff.
Key Responsibilities: Support clients in rehabilitation and recovery journeys
Facilitate groups and attend case conferences
Suggest and implement treatment plans and interventions
Support psychiatry, medical, and other client appointments
Provide,



supervise, or observe oral and injectable medications
Requirements: Accredited practical nurse education program completion
Active or eligible Alberta practical nurse registration and permit
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Working knowledge of Mental Health Act legislation
Knowledge of psychotropic medications, side effects, and administration
Apply practical nursing, mental health assessment, medication knowledge, and recovery-focused care within Calgary’s SkyPointe II program.
