Lead backroom retail operations with team supervision, task delegation, and customer service at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s. Open availability is required.
Reporting to the Retail Manager, the Backroom Team Lead oversees daily department operations. This position provides leadership, assigns work, trains team members on standard operating procedures, and supports product recommendations. The role also maintains presentation standards and resolves customer issues using judgment and logic.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead department team members with the manager
Delegate assignments and follow up on execution
Train team members on procedures and processes
Maintain signage, merchandise presentation, restocking, and cleanliness
Resolve customer issues within the job scope
Requirements: Two or more years’ supervisory experience preferred
Sales or service setting experience preferred
Open availability for opening, closing, and weekend shifts
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to evaluate needs and recommend products
Bring supervisory leadership, operational follow-through, and customer service judgment to Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s retail departments.
