Validus Risk Management seeks a motivated intern or Co-op student for its Macro Strategies function. You will investigate economic themes, analyze data, and prepare presentations for senior team members. The placement runs from January to May 2027, with a possible extension, in a hybrid Downtown Toronto office.
Key Responsibilities: Research data and information on economic and macro themes
Prepare synthetic presentations for senior team members
Conduct ad hoc analytical and project work
Help build monitoring systems for macro factors and indicators
Support client deliverables, presentations,



and content preparation
Requirements: Second- or third-year finance, economics, or STEM undergraduate student
Strong numeracy with intermediate calculus, algebra, and statistics
Excel and data manipulation or analysis software experience
Python experience is a robust plus
Project initiative experience, including university projects, is a plus
