Reporting to the ICU Ward Manager, you will support patients with rehabilitation and care needs. The post involves rotational shifts across 24 hours and collaboration with dedicated healthcare professionals. Your practice will include personal care, physical health checks, communication, and safe discharge planning.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, patient-focused care and treatment
Support safe, effective discharge planning with patients and carers
Communicate effectively with patients and families
Maintain quality, compliance, and safe ward environments
Provide personal care with dignity, respect, and compassion
Requirements: Full NMC registration
Ability to work rotational shifts across 24 hours
Ability to undertake physical health checks and venepuncture
Skilled conduct with service users, carers, and colleagues
Ability to work across inpatient units when required
Bring registered nursing practice, compassionate care, and effective communication to community ward patients across the Trust.
