Support patients across Medical Imaging as a Clinical Assistant using patient preparation, safe transfers, and explicit communication. Work with technologists, nurses, and physicians.
This Clinical Assistant supports Medical Imaging operations and patient flow at Mackenzie Health. You will guide patients and families, prepare inpatients for exams, and coordinate bookings with technologists. The work includes supporting different modalities, Central Holding, and respective patient floors.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare inpatients for different Medical Imaging exams
Triaging and booking inpatients with technologists’ input
Assist patients changing and securing personal belongings
Porter patients between modalities and Central Holding
Clean areas and transport specimens to appropriate locations
Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent
Medical terminology certificate
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Physical strength, flexibility, and endurance
Ability to perform essential job duties
Bring patient support, communication, and safe transport skills to help deliver effective Medical Imaging services at Mackenzie Health.
