Support Up-to-date Niagara’s Corporate Finance Team in Ottawa through full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and consolidations. Analyze data while maintaining accurate financial information across entities.

The General Accountant supports corporate finance activities across multiple entities. Responsibilities include reconciliations, journal entries, data validation, and analytical reviews. The position also contributes to consolidated statements, management reporting, and ongoing finance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform account reconciliations and full-cycle accounting activities
- Prepare and post journal entries for corporate entities
- Assist with monthly and quarterly consolidated statements




- Prepare internal management reporting for senior leadership
- Conduct data cleanup, validation, and analytical reviews

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
- One to three years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience with accounting software
- Working knowledge of Excel pivot tables and lookup functions
- CPA designation, progress, or NetSuite experience preferred
