Deliver geriatric nursing care as a Registered Practical Nurse with AgeCare Westbury in Etobicoke, Ontario, working temporary part time.

This Registered Practical Nurse provides qualified care to residents in accordance with medical requirements and nursing practice. The position supports long-term care through resident assessment, team communication, policy implementation, and direction for Personal Support Workers. You will collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, external health care partners, and other care professionals to meet residents’ needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide professional nursing care to residents
- Implement AgeCare policies and procedures with Registered Nurses
- Liaise with physicians and health care partners




- Direct Personal Support Workers on the care team
- Participate in shift reports about resident status

Requirements:

- Knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing
- Knowledge of applicable nursing home legislation and standards
- Current College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Competence
- Membership in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Background in activation, nursing, and personnel administration
