Lead Canada Life’s Learning and Development operations strategy, portfolio governance, and enterprise learning platforms from Montreal, Toronto, London, or Winnipeg. This permanent full time role shapes scalable services across the organization.
As Director, L&D; Operations, you will connect demand, priorities, people, technology, data, and investment decisions. You will lead multidisciplinary operations, workforce planning, financial management, vendor governance, measurement, and operational services. Your work will translate strategy into reliable decisions, workflows, and measurable value.
Key Responsibilities: Build the operations strategy, roadmap, and annual operating plan
Own intake standards, triage, routing, service levels, and visibility
Lead portfolio, capacity, prioritization, and resourcing reviews




Set enterprise learning platform strategy, controls, and support
Establish reporting for demand, capacity, quality, investment, and impact
Requirements: Seven or more years of progressively responsible related experience
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in complex organizations
Proven success transforming operating practices at scale
Strong financial, commercial, analytical, and influencing skills
University degree or equivalent education and experience
Direct Canada Life’s L&D; operating foundation through portfolio leadership, technology direction, financial discipline, and measurable service improvement.
