Repair haul trucks, shovel buckets, and dozer blades with Elk Valley Resources in Sparwood, British Columbia. This site-based position follows a full time 4x4 days-and-nights schedule.
As a Welder reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will fabricate and maintain structures and equipment across mining operations. The position requires welding expertise with FCAW, SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW processes. You will also inspect equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and work cohesively with other tradespeople.
Key Responsibilities: Repair cracks in haul truck bodies and shovel buckets
Repair dozer blades and other mining equipment
Fabricate site structures and equipment components
Conduct inspections and complete preventative maintenance




Collaborate with tradespeople across active mining areas
Requirements: Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Welder Certification
Valid driver’s license and reliable commute near Sparwood
Strong interpersonal skills in industrial work environments
Ability to work independently or within a team
Previous mining experience considered an asset
Use structural welding, fabrication, and heavy equipment repair capabilities to maintain EVR’s mining operations throughout the Elk Valley.
