This Registered Nurse role supports patient care in a post-anaesthetic care unit. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, alongside patient-centred care and emergency response. You will provide health teaching, discharge instructions, and infection prevention practices while supporting physiological and psychological well-being.
Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Monitor observations according to applicable policies and procedures
Respond to changes in patient health status
Provide compassionate care in diverse cultural environments
Teach patients and families,



including discharge instructions
Requirements: Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration in good standing
Two years recent post-anaesthetic, emergency, or critical care experience
Experience with ventilator support and hemodynamic monitoring
Critical Care certificate and BCLS certification
Excellent physical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills
